Reservoir of Jazz (2009)
Here is this year's music lineup for the Reservoir of Jazz--free music in Highland Park, Sundays in August from 5pm to 7 pm:
- August 02 - Gerald “Shotgun” Haymon Collaboration
- August 09 - Guitars of Pittsburgh Tribute featuring Joe Negri, Marty Ashby and Eric Susoeff (presented by MCG Jazz)
- August 16 - Jazz Surgery with Tony Campbell
- August 23 - Jeff Grubbs Quartet featuring Tania Grubbs
- August 30 - Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra featuring Sean Jones
Each concert is held at Evergreen Grove in Highland Park (near the entrance to the park at North Highland Avenue). Bring a blanket or folding camping chairs to sit on.

The Reservoir of Jazz concert series is sponsored by Highland Park Community Club, State Representative Joe Preston, BNY Mellon, DUQ 90.5 FM, and New Pittsburgh Courier.
We will have a variety of community groups on hand as well as great food from Manno's Market and Deli as well as Italian Ice from Lascola's. There is a kids area with great activities and hand crafts for the kids.
If you are willing to give some of your time to the community and help us with clean up that would be great. Stop by the tent area when the concert ends and you can help us tear down some tents and gather up some of the trash and recycling. There may be an opportunity for volunteers with children's activities as well.
